Hi There!
I'm a wife and mom of three amazing kids. We recently moved from CA to Fort Lauderdale, FL and we love it here.
Here's a little background on how and why I love photography - and what that has to do with you.
My obsession with taking photos of everything I found beautiful started long before I bought my first DSLR from an acquaintance in New York City in 2011. I had no idea how to use it and was frustrated most of the time. After educating myself more and more, I finally upgraded to a newer model. Because I worked for a church, I was able to take every opportunity for snapping pictures for events and weekly happenings.
I was surprised when someone asked me to take photos of their grandchildren - and they would pay me for it. I was so nervous. Looking back, the photos weren't all that, but I know they held a special place in my friend's heart.
Friends here and there would ask for family photos, but when my husband and I had our first baby (now we have three!), I took those photos almost every day. Continuous practice and further education on how to use light made me gain skills in many ways, and I'm still growing and learning all the time.
Now I shoot the occasional event or wedding, but my true heart and passion is for family photos, senior pictures, couples and maternity sessions. I am so grateful for each client who reaches out, trusts and chooses ME to capture their memories.
I want to offer you a professional client experience from first contact until I receive feedback. In between, there is lots of communication going on, so you can let me know your vision, and I can guide you in location choices, outfits and more. Together we create the unique magic that ends up in your very own fully edited gallery, in photo albums, on Christmas cards or on your wall.
Because of my background in working with children of all ages, I seem to have a special gift in bringing the best out in them during a session. Because of their natural curiosity, every family session turns into a little adventure. So parents, don't you worry, I've got you.
Oh hi, it's me!
